How to Enable Page Scroll Tracking

The “Track Page Scroll” feature fires an event when a website visitor scrolls the page. This is useful for tracking user engagement and understanding how visitors interact with your content.

How It Works

The feature triggers an event when the scroll position reaches a specified value in percentage. You can set this value according to your needs, allowing you to capture precise user behaviour data as they navigate through your page.

Setting Up Track Page Scroll

  1. Navigate to the Pixelavo Plugin Settings: In your WordPress dashboard, go to the Pixelavo plugin settings.
  2. Enable Track Page Scroll: Locate the “Track Page Scroll” feature and enable it.
  3. Configure Scroll Position: Set the scroll position percentage at which you want the event to fire. This can be any value between 0% (top of the page) and 100% (bottom of the page).
  4. Save Settings: Click on the “Save” button to apply your changes.

Example Use Cases

  • Content Engagement: Track how far down a page users scroll to measure engagement with long-form content.
  • Conversion Funnel: Monitor scroll depth on landing pages to see if users reach key conversion points.
  • User Experience: Identify sections of your site where users frequently stop scrolling, which can indicate areas of high interest or potential friction.
